Jianhu Gangyu Metal Compound Material Co., Ltd. (hereinafter called Jianhu Gangyu Company for short) was founded in 1994 with the present assets. The trends of the technical research and development are the newest two scientific and technical fields of surface engineering, i. e. the technology of self-spreading high temperature compounding and the technology of high-energy ion permeating. The key products serviced for the users are Wolfram Carbide—Steel Product of Abrasion-Resistant (called WCSP for short) and Ceramic-Lined Steel Composite Pipe (hereinafter called Ceramic Steel or CLSP).
The company has the abundant technical power. Over 35% of employees are technicians and professional staff. The Chief Engineer of the company, Mr. Zhao Tianlin (Senior Engineer), was graduated from Bejing Science & Technology University with the major of powder metallurgy and metal ceramics in 1965. He is in charge of the task of CLSP industrialization in the national "863" Plan, "the Eighth Five" Plan and "the Tenth Five" Plan. He is the main inventor of WCPS. In addition, he is "the excellent worker in science and technology" of Jiangsu Province. There are a group of technicians with high diathesis followed him. They have succeeded in researching and making a certain number of new technology, new techniques and new products every year.
