1. DIEVERSE TOOLING
DIEVERSE tooling has the cavities mounted on top of the dieboard instead of embedded within it as with traditional steel rule dies. With this system, each individual cavity constitutes a completely separable component that can be removed, reconfigured, and replaced without the die ever leaving the customer's facilities.

A number of distinct cost-saving advantages are achieved with DIEVERSE® tools:
Cavities are interchangeable with other DIEVERSE® dies
Pre-production "one-up" tools can be recycled into the actual production tool
Most repairs, sharpening and layout changes can be done in-house
The user can now take advantage of material width variations
Changes to the number of job sets can be quickly and easily accomplished
2. STEEL RULE DIES
A Steel Rule die is made from pre-hardened and pre-sharpened die steel set into a die board to maintain the nesting orientation. It has a low to medium dimensional tolerance. The die height ranges from 23.8 to 50mm (0.937 to 2.0 inches).
It is used for large parts or parts with large production runs and is typically used in an incremental cutting system. It can handle one or many layers of material depending on the material thickness and the height of the rule in the die.
Steel rule dies manufactured by ODI are making substantial contributions to the success of die cutting programs in automotive leather cutting, tri-laminate, leather goods, textile, plastic, rubber, and foam parts industries throughout the world.
3. CLICKER DIES
One of the most innovative ideas that ODI has introduced into the die cutting industry is the clicker die or pre-sharpened steel. Well known for its versatility, the clicker die can cut through textile, leather, plastic, rubber, and vinyl parts.
The shoe industry was the first to benefit from this revolutionary concept. Later, this steel became instrumental in the cutting of leather seats for the automotive industry. Viking-Tex serrated edge steel is also available. The die height ranges from 19mm- 60mm (3/4"- 2 3/8"), which makes the pre-sharpened steel an excellent mate for the roller press.
This lightweight steel has become indispensable in the die cutting industry because it presents a great opportunity to maximize productivity at a reasonable cost.
