SilClar is synthetic, highly purified amorphous silica dioxide. Due to its porous structure, it has excellent adsorption capacity, thermal and chemical stability. It can be used to remove phospholipids and soap in the edible oil refining process, to purify fryer oil by filtration and to adsorb haze-forming protein in the beer brewing process.
