1. Being one of major departments of HIETD, Metals and Chemicals Department has been active international market in export of various ferrous and nonferrous alloys and different industrial chemicals for almost 14years, Since 1987, we have taken apart in conversion trade of chrome ore. With the efforts of our vigorous staff, we became the largest conversion trader in line of chrome series products in China in 1995 and thereafter kept the position as a leading supplier of ferrochrome in China. To further underpin our competitive strength, we cooperated with a hydroelectric power station by taking advantage of cheap hydropower electricity and labor forces, and established a ferroalloy joint venture with annual production of 30000 tons of ferroalloys.
