Food Testing China and Taiwan has seen rapid growth and development over the past decade. In 2002, Genescan opened an office in Dalian, China, which was bought by Eurofins in 2004. At the same time an office in Hong Kong was opened. The main office and laboratory moved to Suzhou in 2007.

Between 2009 and 2014, Eurofins Food Testing China and Taiwan extended sales offices to Shanghai, Qingdao, Xiamen, Shenzhen, Kunming, Chengdu and Taipei. In 2014 a second laboratory was opened in Hong Kong. In 2015 an office in Guangzhou was opened. In 2016 more sales offices are planned in China.
