Established in 1955,China National Instruments Import and Export(Group)Corporation(Instrimpex).which was once called China National instruments import and export corporation, is a specialized national foreign trade orporation.With its business operations started from 1950's.It is one of the specialized foreign trade corporations of the longest history engaged in the import and export business in China.During the past dour decades,Instrimpex has imported large quantities of advanced equipment,production lines and technology for China in the fields of transportation,post and telecommunications,machine-building and electronics,petroleum exploitation,geological prospecting,environmental rotection,aviation,scientific research and power industry.Many of china's first sets of machinery,electronic devices and instruments were imported by Instrimpex.including the first satellite earth station,the first air traffic control system,the first submarine cable ,the frist 1 million volt super high-voltage electric power trasmission and transformation equipment,the largest color television center equipment,the largest seismic data processing system and meteorological observation analysis system and the largest computer system for customs administration in china.
