Visionox, established on the basis of Organic Light Emitting Display(OLED) technology of Tsinghua University, is a high-tech enterprise integrating R&D, mass production, marketing and sales. Kunshan Visionox Display Co., Ltd. was founded in 2006 and Beijing Visionox Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2001.
Aiming at building the China OLED industry by technology innovation, Visionox attaches great importance to science and technology, and push forward the independent innovation so as to promote development of the OLED technology and industry in China. Until now, Visionox and Tsinghua University have filed more than 200 patents domestically and overseas, including over 20 international patents. Moreover, Tsinghua University and Visionox have become the members of the international and national organizations of OLED standards.
With incomparable R&D strength and academic talents from Tsinghua University and after more than ten years' technology research, Visionox has systematically mastered key technologies such as OLED materials, device structures, manufacturing process, module driving and so on. It has also successfully developed mono-color, area-color and full-color OLED displays, OLED white lighting and OLED flexible displays. Moreover, the company has independently developed a new electron injection technology, breaking through the restrictions and dependence on foreign patents. In addition, the organic-inorganic hybrid technology was adopted in Visionox for the first time in the world, largely improving efficiency and lifetime of OLED devices. Visionox has successfully solved key technical problems such as the ultra brightness, anti-EMC, vibration and mechanical impact resistance, and applied these leading technologies to the OLED on the EVA spacesuits of Shenzhou VII astronauts, a landmark success that set a global precedent in applying OLED technologies to the spaceflight domain.
Visionox completed the construction of the first OLED Pilot Line in 2002, and marketed the products in small scale in 2003. A considerable number of clients in industries ranging from portable consumer electronics, instruments and medical equipments are embracing the OLED products, which have been verified under severe operation conditions and have proved with better performance than the ordinary OLED products on the market. In October 2008, the mass production line of OLEDs independently designed by Visionox was put into production, which shows Visionox´ S capability in OLEDs' mass production and sales. An investigation made by the authoritative market research agency DisplaySearch shows that, Visionox's PMOLED product shipment ranked No. 4 globally in the fourth quarter of 2009.
On the basis of OLED technology R&D, OLED product development, marketing and sales, Visionox strategically associates with both upstream and downstream of the industry chain and provides customers home and abroad with "one-stop" services including display technology and product applications and integration design of display and system solutions.
