Established in 1970, Forward Electronics Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company with an integrated, professional capability in R&D. Since the inception of the company's foundation when the main products of Forward were TV tuners and precision electronic components (Switches), Forward has steadily grown into a company with diversified product and service offerings.

Through close collaboration among 5 plants located in Taiwan and China, we are capable of providing flexibility in production scheduling as well as capacity adjustment to meet different customers' requirements.

1970 Co-founded by the Chung-Hwa Electronics Investment Co., Ltd. And ALPs Electronic Co., Ltd., Japan
1971 The Sanhsia plant was opened and started production
1984 Started production in Kaohsiung in southern Taiwan
1999 Established Forward Electronics Equipment Co., Ltd in Dongguan in China
2000 The ALPs Electronic Co., Ltd. Transferred dividends to Tatung Co., Ltd. And the Chung-Hwa Picture Tubes Co., Ltd.
2002 Established Suzhou Forward Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. In China
2004 Official initiation of Initial Public Offerings in the OTC Stock Market of Taiwan
2005 Established Wuhan Forward Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. In China
