Chin Chong started as a plumbing company in 1996. Located in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. Kuching has a population of about 0.8 million and is continuously growing due to the migration of rural population to the larger city for different reasons.

After some years of hard work, Chin Chong had gone from a few employees to currently 55 employees and some other sub-contractors. Over the years it had acquired a few rather large scale plumbing projects from various construction companies and government bodies.

As a result of excellent work and good reputation, together with the desire to grow in business, Chin Chong was awarded with a few contruction and development projects in the last 2 1/2 years, these involved in housing & shop lot estate development.

Due to the increasing demands of building raw materials and many others such as furnishing materials, gardening materials, furniture, hardware, machinery and etc, Chin Chong is setting up a trade company in Shenzhen, China. The strategy is to source the products directly from the manufacturers in China for Chin Chong's own use to reduce cost, and also to grow the company by branching out a trading department.

Chin Chong's goal is to continuously grow strong as a construction and development company. At the same time, Chin Chong's next 18 months goal is to set up a 2 acres warehouse store that trade, wholesale and retail building raw materials, home furnishing items, furniture, gardening items, hardware and etc.
