The steel business division of SK Networks supplies various products of domestic and foreign steel makers to global buyers. It carries steel products made by POSCO, Union Steel, Dongbu Steel, and Hyundai HYSCO, which exported to Asian countries such as China, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Taiwan as well as Middle Eastern countries including Iran and the UAE. Along with the steel products manufactured by domestic mills, the steel business division also imports and supplies Taiwanese, Indian, and Chinese steel products in order to meet various customer needs.
The steel business division and POSCO have jointly established Dalian Posco-CFM coated steel Co., Ltd., a color plating factory, in 1997 in Dalian. While also operating Kiwi Steel, a steel distributor, in New Zealand since 1992, the steel business division continues to invest in foreign markets as well.
