Rongcheng Mingtai Fishery Co., Ltd. was developed from Rongcheng Shidao Fishery Company after the system transformation. It covers a plot area of 100, 000 sq. M. And engages in production and trade giving priority to offshore fishing, aquatic processing and export trade. It has been elected as "Weihai Advanced Enterprise Exporting for Exchange" and "Rongcheng Advanced Taxpayment Unit", etc. And is also listed in key enterprises of Rongcheng.

It was established in October 1992 with independent right for import and export. It incorporates nine enterprises and has fixed assets of 138 million yuan and over 1000 employees. Its ocean fishing fleet is composed of sixteen 450 horsepower trawlers and six international fresh carriers. Rongcheng Mingtai Food Co., Ltd. was started in 2002 and primarily works on deep processing of aquatic products. It is situated in Shidao Port, the largest fishery port in the north of China. Its fixed assets amount to over 30 million yuan, its factory occupies a ground area of 51000 sq. M. And its building area is 11000 sq. M. It is HACCP certified. Its main products are prepared sliced squid, squid ring, breaded oyster and various fish fillets with an annual capacity of 5000t, which are exported to Japan, Korea, USA and Australia, etc.
