Soutec stands in the front position in the Chinese GSM mobile phones industry. In 1996, we developed the first GSM mobile phone in China (Phase I) with our own intellectual property, and passed the national authentication, which has laid down a foundation for the R&D of CDMA products. In 2000, the newly developed mobile phone with our own intellectual property passed the FTA test and thus Soutec became the first mobile manufacturer to obtain such a certificate in China.

Since the strategical partnership with Solectron, the largest EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Supplier) in the world, SOUTEC has become one of the largest mobile phone manufacturers in China. Equipped with international standard mobile phone production line, with 50,000 M² of manufacturing base, SOUTEC owns production capacity of over 10 millions pieces per annum.
