SQTS have been founded in 1930 by the leading Swiss retailer and food processor, Migros. The expertise and competency of the laboratories have contributed substantially to the unique quality and brand image. We are offering our services in the open market as an independently active centre since 1999.
Our facilities are located in Dietikon near Zurich and Courtepin near Freiburg. More than 80 scientists and technical staff work in 20 specialised laboratory divisions or as auditors.
We perform chemical, microbiological and physical tests in the sectors of foodstuffs and meat products, pet food, a wide range of consumer goods, fuels and textiles. Our laboratories are accredited under EN 45001 by the Swiss Accreditation Services (STS 038, STS 095).
