Located in Ningbo Free Trade Zone, Zhejiang Sino-Italian Photovoltaic. Co., Ltd (SIPV) was set up in November 1999. It established the first multicrystalline silicon wafer production line in China. It is a professional company specialized in the research and manufacture of multicrystalline silicon wafer for solar use.

SIPV has undertaken R&D projects for science and Technology breakthrough in solar area under the Framework of National 9th and 10th five-year plan. At the same time, the company keeps a long-term technical cooperation with ENI Power (a corporation of the ENI Group of companies in Italy) and China National Key Laboratory of silicon materials at Zhejiang University.

With more than 7 years R&D and production, the company has a mature team who has rich experience and deep understanding in photovoltaic area. The production line consists of advanced equipments from USA, Italy and Switzerland etc.

SIPV will continuously increase the investment, and expanse the wafer production lines. It is planned the capacity will reach 100 MW per year in a few years. The company is also committed to the development of renewable energy and willing to contribute for the improvement of global ecosystem and environmental protection.
