Founded in 1994 in Hong Kong, M&C Lighting has become a leading manufacturer of energy-efficient lighting fixtures, design bathroom lighting fixtures and utility lights.

M&C employs a total of some 400 staff in its two manufacturing plants in Dongguan, China's Guangdong province, which is within easy reach from Hong Kong. The company also has a Hong Kong office from where products are shipped to its export markets, which include the USA, Canada, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, the Middle East, the UK, Ireland, Spain, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Portugal, Norway and Sweden.

M&C has extensive engineering capabilities employing 45 full-time designers and engineers who work with state-of the-art CAD/ProE software tools. Due to its own engineering and manufacturing capability on a total of 14, 000 sqm, M&C can realize new designs and process orders within a short period of time. 90 percent of all products are original designs with the rest being order-made designs.

Due to its strategy of focusing on design and quality rather than being a player in the low-end mass market, M&C has seen an annual growth rate of 50 per cent over the past three years. Thanks to its strategic approach, M&C boasts an impressive number of loyal customers, which have placed repeat orders for the past many years.

Amongst its top-selling products are M&C's energy-efficient design bathroom lighting fixtures, which have been supplied through the retail channel to the private home market and through projects to some of the world's leading hotel chains.
