Sichuan Dongfang Insulating Material Co., Ltd. is one of the leading electrical insulating material manufacturers in China. Our company was founded in 1966 and located in Mianyang city, an electronic technological city in Sichuan province, west China. There are more than 2000 employees including 700 various professional engineers and technicians in our company. The employees with the degree of postdoctor, doctor, master, bachelor are more than 300 persons.

We can produce more than 100 kinds of electrical insulating material including insulating impregnating varnishes/resins, wire enamels, rigid laminated and molded products, electrical thermosetting molding compounds, modified engineering plastics, electrical mica products, polyester films, polypropylene films, flexible laminates and non-woven fabrics. The products mainly used for generating equipment, electrical motor, transformer, high and low voltage switch, power capacitor, wire and cable, electronics, household electric appliance, etc.

The product trademark was registered as Dongfang. Nine products were certified by UL and 2 products were certified by SGS. The international standards are adopted and the main products are produced as per the correlative international standards. Moreover, the company gained ISO9001 certificate in 1997.

We pay great attention to the exploitation of new products, set up the state authorized Technological Development Center, which has 8 special research institutes engaged with the research and development of electrical films, rigid laminated products and molding compounds, electric motor and generator equipment insulating materials, varnishes and resins, specific modified engineering plastics. We also establish insulating material united scientific research bases with the Chemistry Institute of Chinese Academy of Science in Beijing and Sichuan University in Chengdu respectively. At the same time, we keep long term cooperation with the famous universities in China, such as Xi'an Transportation University, Donghua University, Sichuan University, which makes us have an excellent technical development system and keep the market share of new products above 40%.

Insulating material have been sold to more than 30 countries and regions including Europe, U.S.A., Mexico, Brazil, Japan, Korea, South-East Asia, Middle-East Asia, Egypt, Nigeria, Australia, etc.
