Wenzhou Liucheng Auchem. Co., Ltd. of China, which was the exclusive professional manufacturer producing Ethyl Pyruvate, Pyruvic Acid, Calcium Pyruvate series products by using the Patent Technology (Method of Catalysis and Synthesis of Pyruvate by use of Methyl Lactate) of Shanghai Fudan University. This patent using natural Latic acid that comes from the corn fermentation as raw material, is fully different from the method using petrochemical tartaric acid as raw material. This Patent Technology was awarded GOLDEN PRIZE in GENEVA INTERNATIONAL PATENT TECHNOLOGY ACHIEVEMENTS FAIR in 2002 thanks to its high efficacy, low consumption, eco-friendly and high natural rate.

At the end of 2003, Wenzhou Liucheng Group purchased Shanghai Auchem Co., Ltd. invested USD1, 500, 000 to improve and update the equipments, setup a new line with capacity of output 450 tons annually; meanwhile equipped the laboratory with high quality apparatus such as High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Capillary Gas Chromatography to test and control the whole process.

As a high-tech company, we keep a close technical cooperation with Shanghai Fudan University. Meanwhile we engaged Professor Xiang Yifei--the former head of Chemistry Department of Shanghai Fudan University -- who is also the first inventor of this patent, as chief engineer, to charge our R&D Department
