Wuxi Pangaea Materials Company is dedicated to new structural adhesive research and manufacturing. The company key employees have worked in major global companies with extended formulation experience and intimate application knowledge in epoxies, urethanes and methacrylate (MMA) structural adhesives formulated for marine, transportation and general industries. We have successfully designed the adhesive systems that were used for assembly of computer, school buses, recreational boats, composite truck hoods, and automotive after-market repairs (roof and quarter-panel). The cars after repairs passed rigorous tests FMVSS208 Dynamic Rollover and FMVSS301 Fuel System Integrity, both certified by American Auto Association.

Currently, we elected to offer toughened two-part, room temperature-curing, advanced generation of methyl methacrylate (MMA) structural adhesives tailored for metal, composites and thermoplastic bonding. More choices of chemistry such as epoxies will follow. The main advantages of an MMA are 1) little or no surface preparation is required; 2) Develop most of its strength in a matter of minutes or hours; 3) Unique "chemical encoring" on ABS and FRP substrates making the interface extra strong. In addition, lab simulation tests demonstrated that MMA-bonded parts have shown more fatigue resistance under cyclic loading than spot-welding or riveted ones, a feature critically suited for transportation and automotive applications.

As the results, our products are highly consistent in low temperature impact resistance, thixotrope, shelf life and performance.
