System Introduction

Pi-Optics' Bridge Structure Monitoring System simply consists of: FBG interrogator, FBG sensors and optical fiber cable. It can implement not only data collection but alsotransmit the information to the control center.

FBG Interrogator: Mainly function is collecting the data from the optical signal transmitted through the signal; Modulate the optical signal, data storage and analyzing.

Sensor System: The installation of the sensor and accessories are based on the bridge structure modeling and analyzing, including: FBG temperature sensors, geometry parameter measurement(displacement, EDM/GPS), strain gauge, force measurement sensors, acceleration sensors, signal amplifier and modulator etc.

Transmission System: Sensing Network System platform, set up website, safety monitoring LAN protocol and the connection with other backbone and metro network.

Transverse and longitudinal Displacement of the bridge's main span; Displacement, strain, temperature of the main span steel box girder; Pulling force of the anchor main wire cable; Part sling; Strain of main girder and the steel box girder.

The perpendicularity sedimentation, displacement, longitudinal distortion of the continuous wall, strain of the reinforcing steel bar, water level and water pressure of the holes.

Monitoring of the bridge oscillation caused by the wind load, strain of the bridge caused by the temperature, strain and oscillation caused by the traffic load, water impulsion on the pier.
