Shanghai Metis Instrument Co. Ltd is funded by senior engineer who worked for Chinese Academy of Sciences and overseas returnees. We engage in the R&D, manufacture, and sales of scientific instruments. Our newly established R&D and small sample manufacturing centre is focusing on advanced test instruments in petrol industry and chemical engineering. Our objective is to grow up quickly to be a leading company in petrotest industry.

Our name 'Metis' is a wise goddess in Geek Mythology. She is Zues's wife and Athena's Mother. When she was imbedded in Zues' s body, Zues was extremely wise. Our destiny is exactly as same as what Metis did. We would like to integrate our products and services into client's research, and bring them intelligence and inspiration. Our Chinese name 'Modi' means illume thought silently, which has the same name with 'Metis'.

The star in our logo represents the light of intelligence, and the arc means road. The Logo express that we'd like to lead our clients to the light of intelligence by our products and services.
