Elisa Dai, the founder and fashion designer of Maco, grew up in Italy and was deeply influenced by Italian art, fashion and their way of life. As a big fan of fashion, Elisa studied fashion design during her school times. In 2005, Elisa went back to her hometown - Wenzhou and was ready to show her talents in design. The idea of starting a design company of her own was born. In 2007, Elisa was pregnant with her second child - Maggie. Elisa is happy with her two daughters, Maggie & Coco, who inspired her to name the company "Maco" by using initial two letters of their names. Like her growing kids, Elisa also suggested her wishes for Maco's thriving business and a promising future.
