This factory was first established on April 1993, developed from an ordinary cold storage for aquatic foodstuff, after 10 years hard effort, a 300000 square meter new factory was built in 2003. There are two modern plants with annual production capability 100, 000 tons for surimi products and two frozen fish fillet plants with 12000 metric tons capacity per year. Centered around Changhua, with branches as Rizhao Changhua Aquatic Foodstuff Beihai branch, Vietnam Changhua Aquatic Co., Ltd, Vietnam Kien Giang Changhua Aquatic Co., Ltd, Changhua Thailand Aquatic Co., Ltd, with total asset value RMB0.38 billion, on January 2005, Changhua go to public in Singapore successfully and became the first listed company in Rizhao.

With 15 processing lines and 300 metric tons capacity per day, the company has been the largest imitation crab meat manufacturing corporation in Asia. The product "imitation crab meat" is made of surimi, starch, salt, sugar, crab extract, crab flavor and so on, being processed with the following stepsFully considering about the potential hazards during the processing, the procedure was made according to the requirements of the HACCP system, there are several critical control points such as raw material receiving, pasteurizing, and metal detecting.
