Beijing Institute of Opto-Electronic Technology which was founded in 1974 is one of the top institutes in Beijing. And it is located at 20, Donghuangchenggenbei Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100010, China.
Our institute is permitted to set up not only the "Beijing test laser medical equipment base" and the "Beijing holographic laser technology and product experimental base" by Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission but also the "laser medical equipment engineering research center" by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Furthermore we are also approved the establishment of a "Beijing laser detection and measurement of basic research lab" by the Beijing Natural Science Fund Committee.
In 1985, we were financially helped to build a "Beijing laser parameter test center" by NUDP (United Nations Development Porgram) and the State Science and Technology Commission. The center was officially permitted by SSTC at the same year. In 1993, this center was turned into a "National Quality Testing and Inspection Centre for Laser Components" with the necessary authorizations from the former State Bureau of Technical Supervision.
We also got the authorizations from the State Administration of Quality Supervision Inspection in Quarantine in 2005 As the vice chairman unit of both China Optical Photonics Industry Association and China Medical Devices Industry Association Professional Committee of medical optical instruments, the introduction of Beijing Institute of Opto-Electronic Technology is also the chairman unit of China Optics and Optoelectronics Association Professional Committee of laser and the site of Beijing Optical Society
The introduction of Beijing Institute of Opto-Electronic Technology works on the researches and the development of laser devices, applications of laser technology and Photo electronic. Our institute also tests laser parameters, researches and popularizes the testing devices. We have achieved nearly 100 national, ministerial and municipal scientific researches and have more than 30 patents.
Laser Instrument department of Beijing Institute of Opto-Electronic Technology concentrates on the production of Bridge deflection detectors, tunnel cross-section laser detector and nondestructive testing. Among our produces, Bridge deflection detectors and tunnel cross-section laser detector are the main produces which our department took many years to develop and we are the very first, in the world, to develop. Meanwhile, these two products which are used for testing whether other instruments are up to standard or not have been listed into the class A qualified equipments by Department of Transportation. The key technologies such as multi-point deflection detectors, tunnel limit quick detections, Crack depth measuring devices are national patents.
The produces from our department have been widely used into construction and detection of roads, bridges, waterworks and buildings by many units like China Academy of Railway Sciences, Road Engineering Institute of Department of Transportation, Railway building research institute, Shijiazhuang Railway institute, Southwest Jiaotong University, Northern Jiaotong University, Harbor research institute, Railway bridge test professional teams and Highway testing stations.
And new Beijing-Tianjin high-speed rail lines whose speed is up to 350 miles per hour are checked by our products, so are the road security test for the China's 60th anniversary, Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge and Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge etc.
