Liang Dynasty Group Corporation, is a woman owned, minority owned, corporation established in Dongguan China in 1978, by Liang, QhaoSan, in honor of his slain family incorporated as a Delaware Corporation in 1997.
In the spring of 1936 the epic Long March of Mao Zedongs Red Army, through his cultural cleansing of the elite classes, sent military forces into the city of Chengdu, to eliminate all the local leaders. The army lined up all the Liang family members on the city square and executed them. Accounts recall about 300 family members were shot to death and the bodies were burned. The surviving family member was Liang, QhaoSan who was 11 years old and at school at the time when he heard about the horrific account. He was told that he could never return to his home or friends. He ran away, changed his name, and joined the army.
The government moved him and thousands of others to rubber plantations in central Hainan Island, in the South China Sea, to support the new economy. Most of the transplanted aristocrats died in the first few years from starvation. Liang, QhaoSan did well, married a farmers daughter, Chen, Erde, had 9 children and became a farm team leader. In 1974 the Beijing government declared amnesty for all war criminals and fugitives of the state. Liang, QhaoSan now an old man returned to the community where he grew up and found his lost friends, and took back his family name. He established contacts with England, and America working in the rubber trade and started a small export company in the back of his produce store in Tau Yuan about 90 Km North of Canton (Guangzhou. )
The store grew to 5 family members, then branched to include stores in Dongguan, and Guangzhou. Today the company has 5 locations, and exports 75 - 80 containers per month. With annual sales of USDollars $60, 000, 000 the family business continues to expand, to include textiles, plastics, and metal castings. In 1999 Liang, QhaoSan died of lung cancer, turning over the family business to Liang, YunMei, and the 3 other siblings who continue the family tradition. At the funeral, thousands of prominent families from all over China, party leaders, and trade partners, came to pay their respect. The tradition continues. The third daughter, Liang, YunMei is the only US citizen, and lives in Charlotte, North Carolina where she handles US and Canadian sales.
With many glorious ancestors and a long and prominent history we wish that your minority diversity program, purchasing partners, and associates will consider us.
