HeLion Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Was founded in 2007. The entity replaces our former liaison office Mefrag Co., Ltd. Shanghai Office which was in operation for about 10 years. The same year we moved our overseas sales team from Taipei to Shanghai. This move resulted in a number of advantages: We are closer to our own merchandisers and quality controllers. Communication between them became more effective. We are also much closer now to our factories and suppliers. The Shanghai City government granted us an export license. This enables us to conduct our business in China in the local currency RMB. Hence we will become less vulnerable to price swings but of course we are much more exposed to the rate of exchange RMB / USD or RMB / Euro. Today HeLion Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Is a fully established branch office with all advantages in conducting business in China.

Especially products of different types Insoles, Shoelaces & Shoe accessories to many European organizations as well as to Taiwan area and some other Asian markets.
During the first few years of activity, our major procurement market has always been Taiwan. Taiwan underwent great changes the last 15 to 20 years. The industry was geared towards high tech. A lot of basic light industries were moved across the Taiwan Straight to China. Salaries and other manufacturing costs have simply become too expensive in Taiwan. This meant for us that we also need to open an office in China. In 1998 we chose Shanghai as location because of its geographical location: North, South and Central China are well connected by the transportation hub of Shanghai. This was crucial for us since our sourcing and quality control activities bring us into all parts of China.
Our local sales team, shipping, banking, graphic design and administration still are located at this moment in Taipei. Our strong management team can provide our clients of tight Quality control of shipment goods and efficient sourcing, purchasing ability which always meet with clients' satisfaction.
