II. How a carbon rim is made?
As a carbon rim manufacturer for years, we welcome anyone who would feel any interest in finding out how a carbon rim is made in our factory to visit us. The main production process is posted here.
1. Material Preparing.
At first, the Toroy T700 carbon fiber, our resin with high TG and EPS foam are prepared in place.
2. Our Hot-Melt machine is used to make the carbon fiber pregreg.
3. Luminating
After the carbon fiber prepreg is made, it is cut into pieces with a viariety of expected size automatically. Then the girls lay up the carbon fiber pieces upon the EPS.
4. A plastic core is used here to magically help make the accurately complicate tire bead and tire hook. This process is our renowned patent. For more informtion, you can contact us to talk more about it.
5. After making sure the weight is in the expected range, the rim is put into our molding mill.
6. The plastic core from wrapping is removed, and spoke holes are automatically drilled here.
7. The guys use sand papers to grind on the rim surface to make sure its apperance quality.
8. Then the rim is painted glossy or matt. Here in our factory, it is paited automatically so that all the necessary dots can be painted. It can also greatly increase the efficiency.
9. Next, the girls will be decalling. Here in our factory, there are videos to let the girls to follow the decalling step, so that every inch is correct and perfect.
