Pearl Dragon came into being several years ago, when a UK Buyer was experiencing difficulty in negotiating contracts with Chinese furniture manufacturers.
You would think it a simple matter-the manufacturer has products to sell and wants to develop an export market. The Buyer wants to buy the products. Real life is never so simple, and the true problem was the different ideologies associated with making a business contract in the Countries concerned
As an Englishman who has chosen to live and work in China, I understood the problem and was able to negotiate a very good contract. Word spread, and soon I was dealing with Buyers from all over the world. I was also helping a friend start a Summer Camp; And then I met my wife, who is a jewellery designer. I was in business!
Since then, others with appropriate skills and contacts have joined our co-operative. We also work alongside factories and villages, placing our own Quality Control personnel on the shop floor to ensure QA at source.
We are a group of like-minded individuals who are scattered through many Countries of the world. We aim to promote International Trade, Cultural Exchange and Ethical Trading.
