Mr. Tang serves as a member of the Advisory Board of Greater China Corporation, in New York, a B2B Internet company serving the fiber optic telecommunication industry in and with the Greater China Market. He is an International Advisor to Qindao Doublestar Corporation, China's largest sport shoe manufacturing group. Mr. Tang is also an Economic Advisor for the Government of Jilin.
Mr. Tang is also a director of the Federation of International Chambers of the Brazilian National Confederation of Commerce.
Mr. Tang attended Cornell University, conducted the doctoral program at Paris V, Sorbonne, and concluded Law School at the Estacio de University in Rio de Janeiro.
He started his business career when he was hired in New York by the President of Deltec Banking, then in charge of the Banco de Investmentos do Brasil in Sao Paulo, Brazil. A year later, Mr. Tang was hired by the Bank of Boston to develop and introduce leasing as a financial instrument into the Brazilian market. As such, he created the first Brazilian leasing company for the Bank of Boston.
Mr. Tang is a member of the prestigious Fernand Braudel Institute of World Economics in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Mr. Tang organized a joint Conference at this Institute whereby Chinese State Counselor Li Tieyin and Mr. Tang, together, held a Conference that described China's recent economic evolution.
Mr. Tang a strategic and commercial partnership for the Research Institute of International Relations of the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and for this Ministry's Seminar "Brazil - Asia in the XXI Century-An Encounter of New Horizons" as a guest speaker. Mr. Tang was Assistant Professor of Economic Development at the Estacio de SA University in Rio de Janeiro.
Mr. Tang biography has been published by the official news agency of China - XINHUA. The first book, History of Famous Overseas Chinese in the World in 1994, the second, World Overseas Chinese - Presentation of Business Leaders in 1997and the third, Chinese Enterprisers in the World in 2001.
In the world of sports, Mr. Tang was the President of the Polo Federation of Rio de Janeiro as well as a member of the British and the U. S. Polo Associations.
