Hunan Huayou Chemicals Corp. Grew out of Hunan Provincial Imp. & Exp. Corp. As a large state-owned enterprise. It was founded under the approval of the Ministry of Foreign Trade & Economic Cooperation of China and the People's Government of Hunan Province, P. R. China in the end of 1984.

Hunan Huayou Chemicals Corp. Has the operation right of import & export, barter trade and overseas economic and technical cooperation. Besides import and export, it also undertakes joint-ventures, cooperative production, processing business with clients materials, accessories & samples, barter trade and international project & labour service. At the same time, it invests in futures, real estate, travel service, commerce and transportation.

Hunan Huayou Chemicals Corp. Boasts of more than 60 branches and industrial entities of chemicals and metals, light industry, garments, arts & crafts, etc. With total assets of RMB 2.5 billion Yuan and more than 3000 staff and workers, it retains an annual import and export amount of over USD 200 million.

By the end of 1997, Hunan Provincial Imp. & Exp. Group Corp. 's total amount of import and export reached USD 2 billion, including an export value of USD 940 million and import value of USD 1060 million. As one of China's largest foreign trade enterprises, we rank first in Hunan Province, P. R. China.

Persisting in the policy of transnational development to continually expand and diversify markets, our corporation has strided over from homeland and totally invested more than USD 1, 700, 000 in establishing branches in many oversea countries, such as USA, Canada, Germany, France, Hong Kong, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Russia, Uzbekistan and Hazakistan.
