HANGZHOU HSDP GROUP CO., LTD. Was established in 1949. Originally founded as Hangzhou Dyeing Factory which combined with Hangzhou Refining Factory into HANGZHOU HSDP GROUP COMPANY In 1997. In 2001 it was re-organized into HANGZHOU HSDP GROUP CO., LTD.

The company has now many advanced dyeing and printing machines imported successively from Germany, Italy, Switzerland, France, Japan, etc and its self-made "Star-frame" silk scouring technology and equipment, which won a State patent. It has 7 holding companies, 12 subsidiary and 12 joint stock company. The company now owns 1600 registered staff, more than 200 administrators and technicians and occupies a total area of 60, 000 square meters. It is a large and medium-sized enterprise gathering refining, dyeing, printing, finishing process, garments, arts and crafts one body in domestic silk profession. It is one of the export -oriented silk production base appointed by the state. It is also the enterprise approved by the National Environmental Protection Agent to confer green environmental product label. It annually produces 60 million meters of silk fabric, 1, 000T silk yarn and 1.2 million pieces (sets) various patterns of garments with annual revenue almost 300 Million yuan and foreign exchange of export US$15 million.

The company has attached great importance to sci-tech input, and has its own sci-tech development center and garment designing and sampling center. The company has maintained close and long-term technical cooperation with Zhejiang University of Science and Technology, Zhejiang Academy of Silk Science, with its new technologies and products winning repeated the State-level gold medal, silver medal, ministerial or provincial-level quality awards and international gold medal. Its products sell well both at home and abroad, The company has set up scores of sales networks in some 20 big cities across the country. It has consecutive held three sessions of China (International) "Silk Exposition" in collaboration with the National Cocoon and Silk Office, China Silk Association, Zhejiang Provincial Trade Office and Hangzhou Municipal Government over the past three years.
