Shaanxi Hanjiang machine Tool Co., Ltd. (HJMT for short) was set up by state investment in 1969. As a productive base of the thread grinders, and one of the large key enterprises in machinery industry in China, HJMT at present has 2300 employees, of whom more than 300 are the senior and middle-level technical people. There are a national thread grinding machine research center and a Shaanxi rolling functional device research center in HJMT. Up to now HJMT has obtained more than 70 research achievements, the research levels of which at least are provincial ones. In these research achievements, some have filled in vacancy of Chinese industries and 5 kinds of newly developed machine tools were named "National new & key products".
Main products made in HJMT at present are as follows: Precision thread grinders, crankshaft grinders, universal cylindrical grinders, spline shaft grinders, cam shaft grinders, surface grinders, silicon steel sheet splitting lines, precision measuring instruments, rolling functional devices, etc. In the above products, the output of thread grinders shares 80% of total output in China; The output of ball screws shares 40% in China and the linear guide ways share 40% in China.
In the early part of 1990's HJMT put its efforts to develop the CNC machine tools. The CNC machine tools developed in recent years are as follows: SK7520 CNC thread grinders, SK7632 CNC internal thread grinders, SK7432 CNC leadscrew grinders, SK7732 CNC worm grinders, SK7032 CNC screw grinders, MK7120 surface grinders, HJ057 CNC universal grinders, HJZ037 CNC linear guide grinders, HJZ038 CNC slider grinders, HJ078 CNC jaw journal grinders for oil industry, etc.
In addition, HJMT has also developed high speed ball screws, hollow leadscrews, high speed linear guides, rolling guide blocks and so on. As a leading supplier of the CNC machine tool's functional devices in China, HJMT is the director of the council for the rolling functional device branch of the China Machine Tool & Tool Industry Association. The ball screws & linear guide ways made in HJMT passed ISO9002 certification firstly in China and have been awarded the title "Excellent product in customer's eyes" for three consecutive years.
