Henan Yuhua New Material Co., Ltd., the first manufacturer of glass for solar panels in China, is the only manufacturer who is supported by National Development and Reform Commission for its innovation in technology of solar glass. In 2003, Yuhua set up the first production line in China for 1-15mm low-iron flat glass. In 2005, Yuhua successfully accomplished the R&D of Yuhua low-iron solar panel glass, which is one of its own intellectual properties. In 2008, we developed diffuse glass with Nashiji, Matt-Matt, etc. In 2011, we introduced the AR technology form Sunarc (A technology leading company from Denmark). Now, Yuhua is the state level engineering center of solar glass and research center for glass technology and is playing an important role in solar glass field worldwide, including glass for photo thermal use, PV industry and greenhouse farming.

The visible light transmittance of its solar glass is more than 97.5% with the dimension up to 2500X1600MM. Thanks to its cutting-edge technology, Yuhua 5th generation solar glass makes an increase over 20% in yield for plant growth possible, for example, tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce, strawberry, etc. Meanwhile, plants from the greenhouse with Yuhua glass contain more vitamin C, vitamin E, soluble sugar, which makes Yuhua unrivalled all over the world.
