Huada was well-known as Huada 853 for many years, originally found in 1966 by the Ministry of Electronic Industry of China. In the past 40 years, Huada 853 had been a major electronic components supplier exclusively for military and national aerospace system of China. It owned the country's top-level talents in term of human resources and the country's most advanced technology and equipments. From its beginning, Huada had set up a strict quality control system to meet the strict requirements of the military and national defenses and aerospace industries. The first version of China national standards of RF connectors was written and edited by Huada.

Many connectors used on national space projects like the "Shenzhou V" and "Shenzhou VI" spacecraft were designed and produced by Huada. By doing this, Huada firmed its leading position in the industry in China. Nowadays, Huada is not only supplying high quality products for military and national defense applications but also extends products to civil commercial industries, such as microwave equipments, telecommunication and wireless applications.
