Guangxi Research Institute of Mechanical Industry was founded in 1964. We have made great contributions to the research and the industrial service on common technology of Guangxi mechanical industry over the last 50 years. In 2001, GRIMI transformed into the state-owned scientific and technological enterprise. In 2008, GRIMI was identified as a national high-technology enterprise. At present, GRIMI is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guangxi Railway Investment Group Co., Ltd.

Since the 12th Five Year Plan, GRIMI proposed the development strategy " Take the integration application of digital technology as foundation; Use the research and development of intelligent systems to lead the future; Aim to achieve the Group's high-end equipment manufacturing strategy". Based on the R&D and application of robot technology and 3D printing technology, we offer the integral intelligent technical solution for small and medium-sized enterprises to achieve the industrial transformation and upgrading. Recently, we have 6 categories of products which include specialized industry robot, integration application of industry robot, development and application of 3D printing technology, intelligent manufacturing tutorial system and key equipment of sugar and fertilizer industry. Those products are subdivide into more than 20 varieties and the intelligent technology is translated into solutions, products and services.

We have a great technical team which is constructed with different professionals of mechanical design and manufacturing, automatic control and computer science. We have a great research and development team which is filled with professional engineers and senior technicians. Our team has strong capability of new products' development, innovation, manufacturing and application. In this decade, we have completed more than 100 national and provincial level development projects, including National High-tech R%D Program of China (863 program), National Key Technologies R&D Program of China and provincial key R&D program. GRIMI have received more than 50 patents and more than 10 different science and technology progress award. We also have successfully developed the high pressure cleaning robot and fully-auto packing robot system with in-bag and out-bag, which have reached the leading level of the world.
