Hexagonal woven structure is highly flexible and permeable that is widely using in hydraulic engineering, slope protection, retaining wall, rock fall protection, embankment reinforcement erosion protection and ground modification along with related work.

Material

All types of G-leader gabion products are made from heavily galvanized low carbon steel wire, or galfan (Zn 5% Al, Zn 10% Al) which is even better in resisting erosion. The using of low carbon steel wire not only increase the hardness but also enhance the ductility of the gabion baskets. An additional protective PVC coating is also applied for gabions that are to be used in more aggressive environment or where a longer design life is required.

Double twisted and Five twisted

G-leader offers both double twisted and five twisted gabion baskets. Double twisted is the most common style with widely use in the world as the requirement of ASTM and EN10223-3. Five twisted is unique type which is exclusive to our company.
