We started off as George International Company, a home-based business in August 2001 and due to our aggressive sales and marketing strategies, we decided to register a company and operate physically from an office.

Hence, George International Shanghai Ltd. (GIS) or the local name Shanghai Muwen Trading Company Ltd. was officially operating from 9th January 2002. In order to facilitate our ever increasing oversea customers, we registered a company in Hong Kong SAR with the same name on 12th August 2002.

Quality products and performance are how we built our reputation, and we're not about to change now. While delivering value is a part of GIS's overall market commitment, we know that value and a cheap price are not one and the same. Sure, we are always looking for new sourcing from around the world, but we learned a long time ago, the cheapest bearings are the ones that either fail in application, or the ones that don't arrive when they're due.
