Established in 1984, Gallant Ocean Group has become the prominent Seafood supplier in Asia amongst the others. With operation headquarter located in Taiwan, Gallant Ocean has set up its first production (Chia Fong ) plant in Kaohsiung, Taiwan on 1985, to produce Tilapia, the world's most famous fish. Since then, the Company continues to expand its production bases through out ASEAN region, including China (3 plants), Thailand, Myanmar, and Vietnam. Each production site specializes in its own main products, and meets international approvals from HACCP and EEC certification standards.

Based in Taiwan, Gallant Ocean has extended its Marketing, Sales, and Services around the globe, with strong market coverage in the North America, Central America, and Europe. Currently there are 12 BUs scattered around Taiwan, USA, Australia, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, and with a goal of adding one new BU per year, whether it be manufacturing, marketing & sales, and/or logistic services.

In 2002, Gallant Ocean built the first fully equipped automatic Low-Temperature Logistic Center, with the 24 hour logistic support and state-of-the-art IT network as the general platform, and gradually move in to the door-to-door delivery food service.

In order to recruit top personnel to join the company, Gallant Seafoods has implemented E-Learning and Knowledge Management (KM) System since 2003. Its main function is to train new and old employees with product knowledge and management information efficiently and promptly.
