Gansu Qiangxin Ferroalloy Co., Ltd. was reformed in Sept. 1998 by its former Gansu Ferroalloy Plant, which was set up in 1985. It's the first class large enterprise of the State. It possesses land 50 thousand square meters with fixed assets of 86 million RMB Yuan. The major Ferroalloy Plant is one of the largest ferroalloy enterprises in Gansu province of China. There are 8 furnaces with the total capacity of 75, 600 KVA and advanced system for ferrosilicon and silicon-manganese production. There are three series of products including silicon, manganese, and chromium, and more than 30 kinds of ferroalloy products. The total annual production capacity is 50, 000 tons.

The quality management system is based on ISO9001: 2000 standards and the quality system certificate ISO9001: 2000 is certified. Among the products of "QIANGXIN" Brand, the ferrosilicon and silicon-manganese is awarded a "Silver Prize" by the State and awarded "exempt export inspection" by the state. The other products such as low aluminum ferrosilicon and low calcium ferrosilicon, medium and low carbon ferromanganese and medium and low carbon ferrosilicon have won the high quality title in Gansu. The new developed products have broad prospects such as low calcium ferrosilicon, low-titanium ferrosilicon and low carbon silicon manganese.

As a producer, the company has its own imp. &exp. Authority. The annual total quantity of imp. & exp. is 59, 000 tons. The products are exported to more than 23 countries and regions such as America, Germany, Britain, Japan, Korea and so on. The annual total value of imp. & exp. is more than 9 million USD.
