Liuqiao was formally established on November 7, 2003, with registered capital in the amount of 100 million RMB yuan. It is a sizable, diversified trans-regional business group as a specialist in feather and down products.

As a deputy council member of CDFIA(China Down&Feather Industrial Association), and one of the Chinese members of IDFB(International Down&Feather Bureau), Liuqiao is highly influential in the feather and down market both at home and abroad. Our business is located in Xiaoshan Down&Feather Industrial Zone in Hangzhou which is known as China's Down&Feather Capital. It counts as the largest, technologically advanced feather-processing base in the world.

Liuqiao covers an area of 600, 000 square meters. It is affiliated with over10 subsidiaries, with nearly 10, 000 workers and more than1200 technicians of all kinds. Its annual feather and down processing capacity amounts to 16, 000 tons. It produces 12 million pieces of down-/ feather-filled products, home textiles and garments per year.

In 2005, Liuqiao products were sold to 40-odd countries, generating a sales income of 2.5 billion RMB yuan with 15 million US dollars in foreign exchange earnings. Liuqiao leads the home industry in terms of feather and down exports. Liuqiao Group experiences an annual growth rate of 130%. It has ranked first nationwide in the sales of down-filled quilts for four consecutive years, thus being China's most important force which has an increased influence on the international feather and down industry.
