Beijing Kawin Bio-Tech Co., Ltd., also National Engineering Research Center for Viral Bio-Technology, was founded in 1999 with registered capital of USD20.43 million. Located in Beijing Economic-Technology Development Area (BDA), Kawin covers an area of 16, 000 square meters.

Beijing Kawin was applied by Ministry of Health and approved by State Planning Commission (current State Development and Planning Commission). We are National Engineering Research Center for Viral Bio-Technology (NERC-VBT) established as an enterprise with joint investment of State Development and Planning Commission and China Dalian International Cooperation (Group) Holdings Ltd. (CDIG). Our company is a duly subsidiary unit under Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Beijing Kawin, with NERC-VBT as key institute, has been a pioneer in technological innovation field since our foundation. Led by well-known molecular biologist and academician Mr. Yunde HOU, NERC-VBT is full of talented people with doctor & master degrees. As a national research center, it undertakes several national "863" and "973" key research projects and represents the highest level of China in industrialized research. In 2002 Beijing Kawin was awarded as "National Key Project Enterprise".

At present, Beijing Kawin attaches great importance to our products. Relying on two fields of "Anti-virus" and "Brain nerves", our company currently has Human Recombinant Interferon series (prefilled syringe and vial injection) and several chemical products, such as omeprazole sodium for injection and ozagrel sodium for injection.
