In 2003, taking advantage of rapid demand growth in China and revised government policies, BVL re-organized its head office in Shanghai and was licensed by China's Ministry of Transportation as a Chinese Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) (license no. MOC-NV00982). This license complements BVL's current license as an Ocean Transportation Intermediary approved by Federal Maritime Commission of the United States (FMC-OTI No. 18570N) and enhances its ability to serve customers.
