The Fernostfrucht mbH was founded as an import and export company in 1998 with the purpose of developing the fruit trade between China and Europe.

The founder and Managing Director - Dr Klaus Kahlert - has more than 30 years experience working in various fruit and vegetable processing companies. He has managed a sino-German joint venture in the Chinese province of Shandong for several years.

Skills such as quality testing in laboratories, developing technology, purchasing raw materials as well as international marketing have been passed on to German and Chinese staff alike since 1998. The main focus of our work is cultivate long-term continuous contacts with our clients and suppliers.
