Silk&bamboo studio
Silk and bamboo studio is specialized in Chinese art and craft which are made of bamboo and silk. Our main products include dance fans, silk veil, hand fans, silk embroidery, bamboo basket, etc, most of which are totally handmade by professional factories in central China.

Silk and bamboo are both reproducible materials. Silk comes from silkworm's pods that are harvested 3 times a year. Bamboo is unlike woods. It grows very fast, but can only to a certain height. It naturally dies in a few years even if we don't cut it down. Using both of them will do no damage to our environment.

It is a great century of globalization. We are happy to see more and more people are getting to know Chinese culture. Silk and bamboo are all through China's thousands years of history. Our ancestors are smart to create genius works simply out of bamboo and mulberry leaves. Today we not only inherited their skills but also combine it with a sense of modern.

Our goal is to promote traditional Chinese culture, bringing the benefit of globalization to our diligent people, most importantly, under the condition that what we do does not pose any threat to our mother earth.
