Engineering and manufacturing operations are headed by VME partners Brian Utt and Mike Kwan. Brian Utt is the owner of Carbir Race Cars Inc. and designer and builder of the Carbir portfolio of racing cars. Mike Kwan is VME's powertrain engineer and has over ten years experience with major automobile manufacturers.
VME's first product launched in China is the Carbir VF2000. Based on the championship-winning Carbir 2000 and built for speed, safety and dependability, the VF2000 uses a 2-liter Ford Duratec engine and a 5-speed sequential gearbox.
VME's Shanghai factory produces the complete VF2000 chassis. VME also manufactures professional-level racing car parts and components for our European and US customers.
