Design Italia has been created by Vito Stano in 2006. It took one year to prepare a collection of beautiful models, set up the factory, train the staff, and be able to produce quality sofas.

Following all this hard work, today Design Italia is able to produce in 150 containers per months. And has also placed the basis to expand in the future when there will be more request for our products.

Vito Stano, Managing Director, has an extensive working experience in producing sofas in some of the major Italian sofa producers. Born and raised in Italy, he than moved 8 years ago to work in China, always for Italian sofa manufacturers, and now set up Design Italia.

Design Italia is 100% owned by Vito Stano! So is an Italian company based in China! One of the few foreign owned companies in furniture in China.

Vito Stano also owns 20% of a local leather tannery. This investment has been made to guarantee the supply of quality leather for the production of the sofas.

Also in production there is an Italian Manager, plus freelance Italian designers collaborate in the creation of models for Design Italia.
