Founded in the end of 2004, Hefei TAIHE Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. Was restructured into a company limited by shares in 2012. Now the company is a national high and new technology enterprise, provincial key software enterprise, innovative pilot enterprise, and the provincial import and export foreign exchange private enterprises working on the development, production, sale, installation and technical service based on artificial intelligence, control technology and robotic system. It has been listed as one of the top twenty software enterprises in Anhui Province for two consecutive years, and has more than 900 staff with annual output value of hundreds of millions of RMB Yuan.

After 10 years' development, the company has become the intelligent sorting equipment, complete industrial robots and complete equipment manufacturer with relatively large scale, rich variety of products and wide application field based on high speed and high resolution CCD technology. It has successively developed agricultural products intelligent sorting equipment for rice, coarse cereals, tea and various purposes as well as plastics, industrial salt and other industrial intelligent sorting equipment, and robot palletizer, pressing robot, AGV and other intelligent equipment products. Relying on good performance, its products spread all over the whole nation as well as many countries and regions in Asia, North America, Europe, Africa and Oceania etc.

Adhering to the science and Technology oriented principle, the company has an R & D team consisted by more than 100 professionals, including more than 30 staff with doctorate, master degree and other high degree. It has undertaken two small and medium-sized technology-based enterprise innovation fund projects of Ministry of Science and Technology, besides, Hefei Industrial Material Optoelectronic Sorting Engineering and Technical Research Center, jointly established by the company and USTC Optoelectronic Key Laboratory, had been approved as municipal engineering and technical research center by Hefei Science and Technology Bureau in November 2011. It has been successively affirmed as municipal and provincial enterprise technology center in 2012. It has been authorized to establish provincial Post-Doctoral Research Center in 2013, and in 2015, it was affirmed as municipal Industrial Design Center.

At the end of 2015, the company has been certified as "National Key Hi-tech Enterprise" by the Ministry of Science and Technology, undertaking 1 major project of national technology and innovation fund, 1 National Torch Plan industrialized project and 1 Anhui provincial technology transfer program. It owns 1 provincial scientific and technological achievement appraisal, 6 provincial new high-tech products and 59 patents (including 6 patents for an invention), besides, it has obtained 24 software copyrights, 9 software copyright registration products, its "CCD intelligent particulate matter color sorting equipment" project has won the third prize of Progress Prize in Scientific and Collective Technology of The people's Government of Hefei City. In addition, the government has passed work safety standardization (second level), ISO9001 International Quality Management System Certification, ISO14000 International Environmental Management System Certification, OHSMS18000 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certification as well as CE Product Certification of European Union and ETL Product Certification of North America.
