Chinese motorcycle ranks the first in the world in turnout and in sales volume of 2, 100, 000 motorcycles in 2006. There are 5 provinces among 31 in China (exclusive Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan) are famous for motorcycle producing. The main Chinese motorcycle manufacturers are concentrated in Chongqing, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Shanghai, whose export volume is above 100 million US Dollars. In 2005, Chongqing takes the first place by exporting 1, 731, 000 motorcycles with 588 million US Dollars. Among the top ten motorcycle manufacturers, 5 come from Chongqing: Lifan Group (first), Zongshen Industry Group (second), Chongqing Loncin Industry Co., Ltd. (fourth), Jianshe Group (fifth), China Jialing Group (seventh).
