In 1993, one Chinese company and Italian Zanussi Company established Zanussi Elettromeccanica Tianjin Compressor Co., Ltd. (ZEL). The Company is the first joint-venture company in domestic compressor industry, and is the first company approved by quality system certification of international renowned certification institutions. Over the years, ZEL's products have been unanimously praised by well-known customers at home and abroad. In 2013, Beijing Zhenbang Aerospace Precision Machinery Co., Ltd. Became ZEL's new shareholder by acquiring equity shares, and brought strong financial support and rich experience of equipment manufacturing and parts processing in aerospace, military as well as compressor industries. ZEL specializes in the development and manufacturing of hermetic piston compressors, which are widely used in refrigerators, freezers and various small commercial refrigeration equipment. ZEL's product range is wide and complete, covering multiple refrigerants such as R134A, R600A and R290, from low back pressure (LBP) to medium and high back pressure (M/HBP), from fixed speed to variable speed compressors, and can meet voltage requirements of different regions in the world. Its product categories include Tau imported from Italy and independently developed Lambda, Zeta, Micro and variable speed high-efficient platforms, a total of five platforms with more than 200 models. After introduction of the new shareholder, ZEL will continue to remain vigorous in new product development and technical innovation, and further improve its quality management system, product quality and customers' satisfaction. ZEL will actively participate in market competition with a brand-new appearance, and speed up to launch more high quality and high efficient compressors, in order to create new brilliance of ZEL brand.
