Founded in 1999, Sichuan Bohong Group has now grown into a multi-faceted group company engaged in manufacturing of auto parts and auto sales and services as well as real estate and financial investment.

After more than 10 years hard work and rapid development, by the end of 2011, Bohong Group has grown into a company of over 2, 800 employees, affiliated by over 30 wholly-owned or controlled subsidiaries, with a total asset of 5.83 billion yuan and annual sales revenue of nearly 4 billion yuan.

The Group Company has positioned its manufacturing business as a global leader in casting and forging industry to challenge all the competitors of the world. To achieve this goal, Bohong adopts the strategy of concurrent development in the form of self-expansion, joint venture and merger and acquisition. As a result of self-expansion, the Haosheng Project Phase I was put into operation in DEC. 2010 with an investment of 926 million yuan and the Phase II Project is expected to be completed and put into operation by June 2013 with a total investment of 1, 658 million yuan. At that time, it will become the largest domestic auto parts and castings production base.

As an initiative to develop in the form of joint venture and partnership, on April 11, 2012, Bohong signed an agreement with EB to establish a joint venture in Sichuan to provide cylinder accessories for Audi and Volkswagen EA888G3 cylinder, and the production capacity at the early stage is 1 million sets. In addition, Bohong has reached the intent of joint venture with the German Wintersteiger AG, the largest commercial block producer in the world, and a joint venture company will be established in Dujiangyan to produce blocks.

With respect to merger and acquisition, by April 2012, Bohong has completed the delivery of acquisition of the Wuxi Plant of Norlong, to take in the production base in Wuxi. In June 2012, Bohong signed the final stock acquisition agreement with Wescast, a company listed in Canada with 110 years' operation history, to conduct a 100% acquisition of seven factories in US, Canada, Hungary and China and a R&D Center in US$245 million (stock purchase and liability assumption included). Such acquisition is the largest industrial acquisition in the history of Canada-China trade, and the fourth largest acquisition of the China's automobile industry. On July 13, 2012, a new conference for the aforementioned acquisition was grandly held in Chengdu, at which, Liu Jie, Vice Governor of Sichuan Province appeared. Zhang Meiying, Vice Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and Su Bo, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology sent congratulatory letters to confirm and congratulate the successful acquisition of Wescast Industries Inc.

According to the "Twelfth Five-year Plan" for the manufacturing formulated by the Group's development strategy, the production capacity of various black castings, non-ferrous castings and forgings is predicted to be 1.1 million tons per year, and the output value to be 20 billion yuan by the end of 2015.
