As a large international printing group, our company is located in Shenzhen, which has replaced Hong Kong to be one of the four printing centers in the world. Our company wins the fame as a top ten printers in South China, and keeps receiving praises for its culture tradition over 100 years.

Initiated by Ta Kung Daily, one of the biggest newspapers in China and state government, our company now has a history of over 12 years. It has developed into a big culture group involved in printing, packaging, media, newspaper, magazines, advertisements and paper-making. Since our shareholding to a printing plant in Dongguan early this year, the combined strength compensates for Ta Kung's lack in hand-work, thus increasing our competitiveness, especially in overseas market.

At present, with nearly 50, 000 square meters (20, 000 square meters in urban area) and over 1, 200 workers (700 hand workers in Dongguan branch included), Ta Kung has achieved its own scale merit. In overseas market, it takes the advantage of lower cost in Chinese labor force as well as flexibility among peers.

Now we currently own 2 commercial web presses, 4 rotary presses, 12 four and five color sheet-fed offsets(mostly Heidelberg), 3 saddle stitching machine, 2 thermal binding line and 1 casebound line (see machine list for details). Therefore, we have capacity of 200, 000 paperback and hardcover books, 500, 000 saddle stitch books and 2 million newspapers per day. In 2006, the company will import one more 8-color offset to meet the standard of European size.

We are nowadays specializing in design creativity, promotion, plate-making and printing, and also engages in printing material sourcing, import and export procession, inbound and outbound transportation. The scope of our service and business covers newspaper, magazines, albums, books, yearly calendars, decorating pictures, directories, catalogues, pop-UPS, stationeries, CI, postcards, advertisements, trademarks, annual reports and so on. Ta Kung has over 10 specialized departments including marketing (three units), plate-making, printing and binding department etc, as well as more than 20 domestic and foreign offices.

Our products feature distinction and supreme quality. We became the first one in Canton to gain recognition from ISO9002 in December 1996 and then got ISO9001: 2000 in June 2001. We have also been granted many awards and honors during these years.
